CHA Conference & Tradeshow in Anaheim CA

Today was pretty exciting at Dolce Impressions.  Sandra and I registered for Workshops and Business Sessions at the CHA Conference & Tradeshow in Anaheim CA.

It was quite a challenge as the website for CHA was not working correctly, there were system errors and the whole site had to be shut down for hours. We were lucky enough to get our classes registered and confirmations sent to us before the whole site was shut down for a week.  What an ordeal they are going thru.

This will be my first CHA Conference and I can't wait.  It is scheduled for Jan 9 - 13, 2015 at the Anaheim Convention Center. We should see a lot of new products and demo's on the latest techniques by some of the top designers in this field.  We hope everyone gets the choices they want and are happy before the show starts.

Also, keep checking our website at www.dolceimpressions.com and also our Facebook page at Dolce Impressions/Facebook and this Blog to see the updated class schedules we will be posting soon.  We have several great classes that will prove to be very informative and really fun!
Can't wait for the "Mom and Me" class in late November, Moms and Kids are so much fun.

Stay tuned for more fun things to come this way.

Don't you just love the fall colors on the trees at this time of year.  They can translate to
cards really well and brighten anyone's day.

Thanks for checking in with us,
Sandra and Leanne

Wedding Cake with Bling!

This is a card for my friend who is getting married.  I really enjoyed making this card for them.  The wedding colors are blue and yellow.  I used blue cardstock, then added the printed yellow paper from a 6x6 paper pad.  Cut each piece of the cake from a die cut, embossed them with hearts pattern and then trimmed it smaller and smaller.  Added the top piece of each layer from a punch that has scalloped edges.  Added the pearls to each layer for some bling.  Using another die cut I cut out some small hearts for the top of the cake.  One white for the bride and one black with partial white for the grooms tux.  Adding a yellow ribbon really finished it off nicely. Inside the card I stamped CONGRATS!!  I hope you enjoy this card.
